Eyes of the Keeper explores the idea of observation, guardianship, and the hidden stories carried within transformed materials. The artwork reflects the relationship between what we see, what we overlook, and what we choose to protect.
Created from reclaimed objects and discarded resources, the piece represents the transformation of everyday materials into a symbolic expression of awareness, resilience, and creative possibility.
The use of reflective elements, textures, and layered materials creates a visual conversation around identity, memory, and the role of the observer. The eyes become a symbol of attention — reminding us that value often exists beneath the surface.
Through sustainable craftsmanship, Eyes of the Keeper invites viewers to reconsider waste, recognise hidden beauty, and explore the deeper meaning behind materials that are often ignored.
This artwork was created using reclaimed and repurposed materials including glass bottles, aluminium beverage cans, used braided synthetic hair extensions, plastic bottles, rhinestones, nail polish, and foil packaging flakes transformed into decorative glitter. Each element contributes texture, reflection, and character, allowing discarded materials to become part of a new artistic language focused on transformation, sustainability, and storytelling.
