The affair

The affair

They dived into the deep end of the sea

Straight down they plunge into her slippery soul

Sweat of tears; they drank in her tongue as tea

And ate her sour food from a leaky bowl

It’s not a playground but a court to plea

Their wounds were in flames like a burning coal

It’s a war affair; thus ground he was found

Too tight till it hurts; thus round she was bound.
